At our school staff, students, parents and community members could be part of some of these programs and initiatives:
Reading Recovery (Year 1)
This is an intensive Reading Program for year 1 students experiencing difficulties with reading. Students receive one to one teaching from highly trained reading teachers, and their progress is then monitored for a further two years.
Targeting Early Numeracy K-2 (TEN Intervention Program)
All K-2 classes and their teachers are working with a DET Consultant to enhance the teaching and learning of Mathermatics in our school.

Best Start
Best Start involves focused assessment of all kindergarten children, including reporting to parents.
AEP Early Intervention
This is an early intervention program for Aboriginal students in K-2. It involves a local community tutor, with emphasis on reading, writing and number foundations.
Focus School Support Program
Students benefit from the involvement of all staff members in this program which this year is focusing on Space, Measurement and Geometry.
Training for Parent Helpers
We have excellent support from our parent community in relation to parent helpers in our classrooms, canteen, playground and Library.
